Maintaining Good Health
Health is a condition where sickness and infirmity are completely absent. It is the state where we recover fully from any injury or illness that we may have faced. It is the state where we see improvements to our health and we notice no changes to it. Various definitions have been used over time for different purposes. The dictionary defines health as having well-balanced body system, ability to perform ordinary physical activities, ability to resist any strain, absence of pain and other manifestations that do not involve the intellect.
Nowadays, what many people really mean by health is the total absence of all ill-health, the ability to sustain life and function properly under normal conditions, the absence of illness in one’s daily life and the ability to live a healthy lifestyle. It is the combination of all these aspects that can be termed as good health. If you are living with a good health, you don’t feel the need to take any medicine to stay alive. You do not feel the need to have a good diet and you don’t even feel the need to have a regular physical activity.
A mental health, on the other hand, refers to the well-being of your mind. It is your mental well-being that determines your ability to cope with the daily stresses and strains of life. Physical health refers to your ability to maintain your body system. A well-balanced health is necessary not only to lead a healthy life but also to keep your heart safe. Maintaining a balance between these three aspects is not an easy task and hence it becomes essential for everyone to focus on it because having a healthy mental well-being is one of the best ways of keeping your heart safe.
