Psoriasis Beauty Tips
Beauty is a very subjective term that is used to define and analyze the aesthetic qualities of things. Beauty is most commonly defined as the aesthetic quality of certain objects which makes these objects appealing to see. Such objects include sunsets, landscapes, beautiful humans and other artistic works of art. Beauty, along with beauty and art, is perhaps the oldest area of aesthetics, among the major branches of applied philosophy.
The Greek philosopher Aristotle distinguished four types of beauty namely, beauty, symmetry, beautylessness, and ugliness. According to him beauty is primarily dependent on the physical and material aspects of an object while some others think beauty depends much on the attitudes of a person or his/her psychology. Aristotle argued that beauty is mainly a subjective aspect of human emotions. A beautiful face for example, may be desired by an individual according to his/her facial features, but if that individual does not have any kind of job, that face will not become aesthetically pleasing.
Psoriasis is not an illness but is an outward manifestation of the skin disease. This skin disease comes in different forms like plaque psoriasis wherein the patient suffers from dry, white and thick plaques on the skin, pustular psoriasis where the patient suffers from red, dry, itchy patches and scaly skin, xerotic eczema where the skin is extremely dry and scaly and seborrhoeic dermatitis which is a form of psoriasis which affects the nails and scalp. Psoriasis is actually a chronic skin disease but the cause behind the disorder is still unknown. There are a number of theories that provide us with explanations as to the causes of this disease. Some of the theories suggest that the cause of this disorder could be the genetic inheritance of these genes from the parents. Another theory suggests that the abnormal level of hormone levels in the body are the primary cause.
